These Aluminium Weld‑On Deck Plates with Acetal Lids are engineered for durability, ease of use, and long‑term performance in demanding marine environments. Each deck plate features a heavy‑duty marine grade aluminium weld‑on base, paired with a 20 mm thick acetal lid designed for strength and stability.

The aluminium used in these deck plates is manufactured from 6000‑series alloy, which is anodised and T5 heat‑treated. This provides excellent corrosion resistance, enhanced structural integrity, and consistent longevity in harsh saltwater environments.

The acetal lid includes precision‑cut keyholes for easy opening and closing, along with a rubber O‑ring seal to ensure a watertight and reliable closure. Lids are available in black or white, offering flexibility to suit various vessel styles and build requirements.

These deck plates can be welded directly to the deck or the base can be drilled out for screw fitment, giving installers versatility during fit‑out. All sizes maintain a minimal 5 mm protrusion for a clean and low‑profile finish.

To minimise the risk of corrosion on the aluminium base, ensure proper isolation from dissimilar metals, maintain effective bonding and earthing systems on the vessel, and avoid using sealants that may trap moisture around the weld area.
